Bormio/Livigno


The Alta Valtellina region is located in the northernmost part of Lombardy near borders with Switzerland. There is the world-famous St. Moritz resort literally behind the hill.

Alta Valtellina consists of several ski resorts. Among the most famous ones are Bormio, Livigno, Santa Caterina and also yet undiscovered San Colombano despite its high quality.

In winter, it is one of the best destinations you can visit in Italy. Almost no-one can resist the combination of excellent snow conditions, good weather and quality service. Fans of freeriding will enjoy an extensive new freeride zone here.

In summer,  cyclists are the largest group of visitors. For them, Livigno, in particular, is the right place to find everything they look for. Cycling comes alongside with tennis, hiking, golf, horseback riding, and many other sports activities. In summer, make sure to visit the largest National Park in Italy - Stelvio, located in the ski area of Bormio.
