The Espace Killy ski area is located in the Tarentaise Valley in the Savoy Alps and is considered one of the most beautiful ski areas in the world.

The area is named after the famous skier Jean-Claude Killy, the most successful skier at the Grenoble Olympics in 1968. He won Olympic gold in all the men's alpine skiing disciplines - slalom, giant slalom and downhill.

The Tarentaise Valley is home to the highest concentration of top ski resorts in the world. The most famous are Paradiski (Les Arcs, La Plagne) and Les Trois Vallées (Val Thorens, Meribel, Courchevel and Les Menuires).
