St. Anton
St. Anton is part of the Arlberg region, which lies on the border of Vorarlberg. At first glance, the beautiful mountain nature between the Lechtal Alps and the Verwallgruppe mountains catches your eye. That is why the Arlberg is considered one of the most beautiful ski areas in the entire Alps. The area is divided into two parts. There is St. Anton on the south side with the villages of Stuben, St. Jacob, and St. Christoph. The northern part consists of Vorarlberger with the villages: Zürs, Lech and Oberlech.
The fact that Arlberg is one of the regions with the greatest snow security is a big advantage. There is always the possibility of good spring skiing until the beginning of May and the certainty of sunny weather.
St. Anton offers a wide range of all types of slopes. The area is often sought after by lovers of freeriding (Eg. the famous route from Rütikopf). This is complemented by excellent conditions for ski alpinists, for cross-country skiing, skating and sledging.
In summer, there is 270 km of hiking trails, more than 1,000 km of official bike paths, rafting, canoeing, a rope centre with eight main stations, a paragliding school and many other opportunities for sports and cultural activities.
