Zillertal

The Zillertal region lies in the heart of Tyrol. The Ziller Valley is considered one of the largest ski areas in Austria and the entire Alps. It stretches from the first resorts near the turnoff from the motorway in the Inn Valley to the Hintertux Glacier.

The area consists of three regions. In the lower positions are the Fügen, Hochfügen, Kaltenbach and Zillertal Arena. At the point where the Ziller Valley divides into a side valley, these are Mayrhofen, Finkenberg and the Tux Valley with the Hintertux Glacier. There are options for everyone here.

Long kilometres of cross-country trails, 3 illuminated toboggan runs and 250 km of marked winter hiking trails are inevitably on the sports offer of the area. More than 1,000 km of hiking and cycling trails in all possible difficulties and lengths are awaiting you as well.

Attractions:

  • Glacier at an altitude of 3250 m a.s.l.
  • 490 km of ski slopes
  • 800 km of cycling routes
  • 1,000 km of hiking trails
